Joanna - Professional Microblading and Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner
Over the past 6 years I have spent lot of time exploring art in the form of permanent make-up. I fell in love with the art of microblading and how creating eyebrows can really change the look of a person and give them so much joy and confidence at having permanent make-up that looks so real. I started to study and practice the art of microblading closely and qualified as a Professional Microblading Practitioner, originally specialising in eyebrows. My work in microblading was mainly among family and friends and recommendations and became a sort of hobby for me whilst continuing my professional career. I became so busy with microblading and decided to set up Microblading Brow Art in 2016. I have also went on to study further and achieve the highest level of microblading in the UK. I am registered with ARA (Association of Registered Aesthetics) A.C.T fast trained and an Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner. Being trained also in aesthetics is the only legal way that micropigmentation /microblading can be carried out when using numbing agents to numb the area to be treated. My work also includes microliner (eyelash enhancement/ eyeliner), lip enhancement and scalp micro pigmentation and traditional tattooing.
I also offer Dermaplaning, Microneedling, BB Glow and lash lifting. In my capacity as an advanced aesthetic practitioner I also provide anti wrinkle treatments in Botulinum toxin, Dermal Fillers, Aqualyx (fat dissolving injections), PDO Threads, VitB12 Shots, IVVitamin Therapy.
I divide my time every week between Twickenham & Devon. I hold a special treatments license in The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames & North Devon. I have worked and published as a Psychologist and spent many years as a HR Director. I am very passionate about art and people.
In addition, I am also a qualified professional teacher/trainer and teach all that I am qualified in through my Skiin Pro company
I am able to offer you a complete new fresh look in micropigmentation and aesthetics. I absolutely love what I do as it brings together my love of art and being able to make people feel good about themselves. I believe that my approach is very different in comparison to a beautician as I believe that my innate creativity enables me to beautifully create a personal and bespoke masterpiece that looks and feels like a real part of you.

My love of make-up and beauty started during my teenage (Acne prone) years. I realised that knowing you have a beautifully made-up face is such a huge confidence booster and I knew I wanted to learn the art of helping people to feel great about how they looked. I also wanted to use the best products, products that were as chemical free as possible.
After completing my Make-up Artistry qualification, I worked as a freelance Make-up artist within the TV and fashion industry before changing my focus and joining the Estee lauder group. During this time I had a number of job roles including being the International Make-up Artist and the Makeup and Skincare Trainer for Estee Lauder and Crème de la Mer. This gave me the opportunity to work with thousands of clients - uniquely diverse individuals who were looking for expert make-up and skincare advice for a number of different reasons. Be it re vamping a make-up look, concealing areas of concern such as scarring, birthmarks, pigmentation, or make-up for special occasions.
I have been involved with fabulous projects in my professional career such as working with Louise Redknapp with the launch of her natural make-up range ‘wildaboutbeauty’. I have worked as a professional make-up artist for over 15 years. Throughout my career I have worked with many high profile clients that are in the public eye and celebrities. No matter whose make-up I am doing, I pride myself on being able to create a look that is right for them and meets the brief that I have been given by my clients. It is so important to feel comfortable and confident with your make-up. I have become known for my ability to do just that, ‘radiate’ your confidence,.
Taking the power of make-up to the next level for me was Eyebrow Microblading. I was fascinated with naturalness of the hair-like strokes that can be created with Microblading, leaving a very natural look with longeivty. I hold a UK Microblading Practitioner qualification in Eyebrow Microblading.
